I'm a 22 year-old engineering graduate. I am getting healthy for life, and tend to post things that inspire my journey. Sometimes there is a beautiful piece of architecture thrown in there too!
Losing weight is one loooong journey, but you only need to make the decision to start once. I've already started. Every pound I lose, I do my best to make sure it's the last time I ever lose THAT pound. This is The Last Loss.
My progress so far:
I remember always wanting to run, always looking at ‘healthy people’ doing it and thinking to myself: i cant do that. I always thought I was too big, too heavy, that I would never be able to that without hurting myself.
I started with treadmill walking soooooo slowly and improved with time. Today im finally able to run and i’m proud of myself for improving, for not giving up, for persisting and having the patience to not just stop and give up when I didnt get the results I wanted.
Please, dont be discouraged coz of plateaus, bad days, bad weeks, doubts. You can do this, we can always get better somehow. Just trust the process :)
You have a beautiful smile and impressive determination!
Thank you so much :)
I made a delicious vegetable lasagne - serves 4 (generously) for 300 calories per serving!!
It was immensely yummy…
I now feel like a powerful chef MUAHAHAHAHA
I’m trying to wrap my head around starting Week 1 Day 1 of the Couch to 5K App. Looking at success stories and general reviews on Tumblr to get me motivated to do it.
SO yeah, I’m going to go down to the beach and DO THIS today. yikes.
Meanwhile, there is a dude legit playing bagpipes a few doors down from my house. The sound set off a car alarm. Oh great, now someone is trimming a hedge. What is it, loud noise day?? What occasion could possibly warrant bagpiping, on a Monday early afternoon?
